As of October 5th, 2020, funding applications are open for round two of the Emergency Community Support Fund (ECSF). Applications for qualifying non-profit organizations in Wood Buffalo can be submitted through United Way of the Alberta Capital Region.
The Emergency Community Support Fund is to help charities and non-profit organizations serve and support vulnerable Canadians during the COVID-19 pandemic. This funding is part of the $350 million made available by Government of Canada and administered through United Way Centraide Canada, Community foundations of Canada, and the Canadian Red Cross in communities from coast to coast.
